Ventura County Together is a unique collaboration of non-profit agencies, public agencies and community members who came together in 2009 in response to the growing need for basic needs services in Ventura County. Our partners are the leading providers of food, shelter and health care for thousands of individuals and families across Ventura County. Ventura County Together is focused on the following:
- Increasing awareness of the critical unmet basic needs in our community
- Serving as a forum for providers to bring forward critical and emerging needs in the community
- Inspiring and mobilizing others to take action to help their fellow Ventura County neighbors by investing time and money to help those who are struggling the most
- Raising dollars that are directed to meet basic needs with a simple formula: 30% to health care, 30% to shelter, 30% to food and 10% to the 2-1-1 information and helpline to connect people to services and resources
